The temporary work sections of the TPP are raising strong concerns from labour unions that warn it raises questions about on-the-job safety and the protection of Canadian jobs.

Les organismes d’accueil qui prennent en charge les immigrants affirment qu’ils sont limités financièrement et que cela a une incidence sur l’intégration de ces nouveaux arrivants. L’Association canadienne-française de l’Alberta vise l’établissement de 600 nouveaux immigrants économiques francophones dans la province par année. Il s’agit du double du nombre d’immigrants admis grâce au regroupement familial.
